Questions families ask

What is an Azwaj Rishta Card?

It is a one page rishta biodata that lives at its own link and printed QR code instead of in a PDF. The link opens only for someone who has the PIN you give them, so the details are not loose in a WhatsApp group. You can see how many people opened it, and the families who are interested leave their name and number for you.

How is it different from the free biodata maker?

The free maker gives you a PDF to keep and forward, and a forwarded PDF cannot be taken back. A Rishta Card stays yours: change the PIN and every copy already circulating stops working, while your own link and printed QR keep working. The free maker asks for nothing and stays free.

What does it cost, and does it renew by itself?

In India it is 999 rupees plus 18 percent GST, which is 1,178.82 rupees, for 3 months. From outside India it is 1,899 rupees flat, with no GST, because that is a zero rated export. Nothing renews automatically: after 3 months the link simply stops working unless you choose to renew.

Are the photos safe?

Photos are optional and off by default, up to four. They sit behind a SECOND PIN, separate from the one that opens the biodata, so you can let a family read the details and only later decide to show pictures. The image that travels on WhatsApp is always blurred or photoless. What we cannot stop is a screenshot by somebody you gave the photo PIN to, and the form says so before you upload anything.

Can I take the card back?

Yes, and this is the point of the product. One tap switches it off everywhere at once, including copies already forwarded, because every open is checked against our server rather than served from a file. While your paid term is still running you can switch the same card back on again.

If someone forwards the link, can they open my card?

Not without the PIN. The link on its own opens a locked page that asks for it, so forwarding the link forwards nothing: it works like a password protected biodata link, with the PIN as the password, and the PIN stays with your family. Every successful open shows on your dashboard, and if the PIN itself leaks you change it once and every copy in circulation stops working. What no product can stop is somebody you trusted with the PIN showing their own screen to somebody else, so give the PIN the way you would give the biodata itself: to named people, one family at a time.

What happens when the 3 months end?

The link stops working the moment the term ends. You then have 30 days to renew and get that exact link and printed QR back. After those 30 days the card, its photos and its list of interested families are deleted for good.

Can I make cards for more than one person?

One number carries one card, your own. A rishta broker or marriage bureau who builds cards for many families joins the Azwaj partner programme instead: verification happens on a call first, each family confirms its own card on its own number, and the finished card, with its PINs, belongs to that family rather than to the broker.

Before you send any biodata on WhatsApp, it is worth knowing what the app itself does with the file: what WhatsApp does with a biodata after you press send.

What it costs, and what is included

₹999 + 18% GST
for 3 months · ₹1,178.82 total, on a proper GST invoice
That is about ₹393 a month, paid once
  • The card, its private link and printed QR, live for 3 months
  • Both PINs, in your control, changeable any time
  • Your dashboard: how often it was opened, and who said interested
  • Full refund within 48 hours, and the card comes down with the money

The price follows the country of the mobile number you verify, and the exact total is shown again before you pay. No auto renewal, ever.

The free biodata maker, and this

Free biodata makerRishta Card
What you getA finished biodata as a PDF or an editable Word file. The file sits on your phone and stays there.A one page card at its own link, plus a printable QR code. There is no file to download.
Designs25 designs, five of them with Islamic girih borders and a calligraphic Bismillah, every one previewed in the picker. One design today. On designs the free tool is plainly the better product.
What it asks of youNothing. No sign up, no phone number, no account.Your phone number, verified by an OTP, and payment before the card goes live.
After you send itThe file travels on its own. Whoever receives it can forward it without you.Only a link travels, and it opens for someone who has your 4 digit PIN.
PhotosThere is no photo upload, and no photograph on the document. For photos, the free tool is the safer choice.Up to 4, optional and off unless you turn them on. They sit behind a second PIN, separate from the first.
Who opened itThere is no way to know. A downloaded file leaves no trace. How many times it was opened, and roughly how many separate visitors. Counts only, never names.
Families who are interestedThey call or message you directly. They leave their name, number and a short note in your dashboard.
Taking it backNot possible. A forwarded PDF cannot be recalled.Switch the card off at any time, or change either PIN, which shuts out every device holding the old one. Anything already screenshotted is out, and nothing brings that back.
PriceFree. No sign up and no payment. It carries a small Azwaj credit and a QR.₹1,178.82 in India, ₹1,899 outside it, for 3 months. It does not renew by itself.
After 3 monthsThe file is still yours, for as long as you keep it.The link stops opening. For 30 days you can renew and get the same card and the same link back. After that the photos and the data are deleted.

Most families should start with the free biodata. The card is for when the biodata is going beyond the people you know personally, and you want to keep hold of who can open it.

Four steps, one sitting

1

Fill the card

Only what you want on it. Blank fields are simply not shown.

2

Verify your number

One OTP. The card and its dashboard belong to this number.

3

See it first

The real card, exactly as families will see it, before you pay anything.

4

Share link and PIN

WhatsApp the link with the card PIN. Keep the photo PIN for the serious ones.

Made for how families actually share a rishta

A paper biodata cannot be taken back. This one can.

The link obeys a PIN

Without the PIN the link shows nothing. Change the PIN once and every forwarded copy goes dead, while your own link and printed QR stay alive.

Photos wait for a second PIN

Reading the biodata never shows the photos. Those open with a separate photo PIN that you give out person by person, when a family is serious.

Your number stays yours

The card carries no phone number unless you choose to print one. Interest comes back through the card itself, and you decide whom to call back.

Yours to switch off

One tap ends the card everywhere. It runs for 3 months and stops by itself. No auto renewal, ever: you pay again only if you choose to continue.

Choose how it looks

Twelve designs, one card. You can change it later from your dashboard, and the link and the printed QR stay the same.

Before you fill this in

The person this card is about must know it is being made, must have agreed to it themselves, and must be 18 or older. They are agreeing to these details, and to the photos if you add any, being shared with the people you send the link and PIN to. The form asks you to confirm this, and what we store is the date you ticked it.

Any card can be taken down, and anyone can ask for that, including the person the card is about. They do not need the PIN, the dashboard, or the phone number the card was made with. The request goes to the WhatsApp number and email address at azwaj.io/c/remove. We confirm with a quick phone check that it is really you, so a stranger cannot take down someone else's card, and then it comes down everywhere at once.

Two limits, and they belong here rather than after you have paid. First, anyone past a PIN can take a screenshot, of the photos and of the biodata alike. Switching the card off stops the link opening for everyone who has it. It cannot reach a copy already taken. Second, a PIN can be repeated: whoever you give it to can pass it on, and you will not see that happen. What you can do is change the PIN, which shuts out every device holding the old one at once. So the photo PIN above all goes only to people you would let into your home.

Nothing goes live until you have seen the card and chosen to pay.
