Message us on WhatsAppWe build it together, on a call, with the person the profile is for. We never create a profile for someone who has not agreed to it.
Or do it yourself: create your free profile on Azwaj. The questions are the ones you have just answered.
A PDF cannot be taken back once it is in a WhatsApp group. An Azwaj Rishta Card is the same details at a link and a printed QR that open only with a PIN you control. Change the PIN and every forwarded copy goes dead, while your own link keeps working, and you see who opened it and who left their number for you.
See the Rishta Card₹999 + GST for 3 months in India, ₹1,899 from outside. It stops by itself, nothing renews.
A marriage biodata is the one page a family passes around when they are looking for a rishta. It carries who the person is, their deen, their education and work, and their family, in an order everyone recognises. It reaches an aunt in another city, a WhatsApp group, a masjid noticeboard. Long before anyone meets, this page is doing the introducing.
Most biodatas are still typed in Word, and it shows. The spacing drifts, the sections are in a different order every time, and the important things are buried. This tool gives you the same information in a form a family can read in thirty seconds.
How you practise, hijab or beard, your sect, and any Islamic education. In a Muslim marriage search these are not extra details, they are the match. Most templates leave them out entirely, which is why so many biodatas read like a job application.
Age, height, where you live, your native place, education, profession, and your family. Anything left blank in this form is simply dropped from the PDF, because an empty row reads like something is being hidden.
Azwaj biodatas carry no photo, and this tool does not offer an upload. A document that is forwarded cannot be recalled, and a photograph that leaves your hands is gone. Families who want to share a photo can do it later, directly, with the family that matters.
You will notice this form has no community or biradari box, and no complexion box. Both are standard on the templates this replaces. Neither has anything to do with whether two people will be good for each other, and Azwaj does not ask for them anywhere, so we do not ask for them here either.
The contact section is optional for the same reason. Add a number when you are ready for strangers to have it, and not before.
Fill the form, pick a design, and press create. The file is built on our server and comes straight back to you, as a PDF or as an editable Word document, whichever button you press. There is no account, nothing to install, and no charge, now or later. Every page carries the Azwaj mark and a QR code, which is the only thing we ask in return.
Looking for the wording rather than the tool? The Azwaj blog walks through each section of a biodata with examples, and covers what comes after it: how to involve your wali, and the questions worth asking before nikah.
Azwaj is an Islamic matrimony app for practising Muslims. Deen first, photos private by default, family at the centre, and no caste or biradari, ever. It is not a dating app. See what we are building.
A marriage biodata is a short document Muslim families exchange during a rishta search. It typically covers personal details, education, profession, family background, and what you are looking for in a spouse: a respectful first introduction before families talk.
Name, age, height, education, profession, city, a note on religious practice (prayer, hijab or beard if you wish), family details, and expectations for a spouse. Keep it honest and concise, one to two pages.
Yes. Press "Download as Word instead" and you get a .docx file that opens and edits in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Pages. Add a line, change a word, or make a different version for a different family. The Word file is one clean layout rather than the 25 designs: the designs are frames and ornaments meant for printing, and they would break the moment you edited them, which is the whole reason to want Word. Choose the PDF if you want the design, and Word if you want to keep changing it.
Yes. You can create and download your biodata as a PDF free of charge, with no account and nothing to install. Every page carries the Azwaj mark and a QR code linking to azwaj.io, which is the only thing we ask in return.
This tool does not offer a photo upload, and Azwaj biodatas carry no photo. A document that is forwarded cannot be recalled. Many families prefer to share photos privately at a later stage, which is the same privacy-first approach Azwaj takes in the app, where photos stay locked until you approve them.
A CV markets your career to employers. A biodata introduces your person and your family for marriage. Tone matters: sincere and modest beats salesy.
A PDF cannot be taken back once it is forwarded. If that worries you, the Azwaj Rishta Card is the same details at a private link and printed QR that open only with a PIN you control: change the PIN and every forwarded copy goes dead, while your own link keeps working. It also tells you how many people opened it and which families left their number for you. It costs 999 rupees plus GST for 3 months in India, 1,899 rupees from outside India, and it does not renew by itself.
